I ordered the seafood salad and La Minuta (red snapper). Both dishes were fresh and delicious. The price was quite reasonable. My overall experience was very pleasant, encompassing the service, the atmosphere, and, importantly, the pet-friendly environment. I highly recommend trying this establishment if you're looking for non-tourist fried food that is served in most restaurants.

Plenty of parking behind the restaurant. On the smaller side but very clean, and a great friendly atmosphere inside. We had wine, the cafecito (their take on an Espresso Martini) and a Run Spritz which were all excellent. For an appetizer we had the Gambas al ajillo (the sauce was so good we wanted more bread to dip in the sauce) & Truffle Fries. For dinner Salmon a la Toscana, Lobster a la Dinorah, and a Crab-stuffed grouper. The salmon and lobster were delicious a favorite at the table. The grouper was overcooked and a bit salty but had good flavors. This was the least favorite of the day. A flan and a Dubai chocolate torte for dessert to end the dinner, which were both great. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place. Wonderful flavors and great service.

We're so grateful to have found this little restaurant. It's 25 minutes from our house but worth the trip. The staff was so personable and constantly checked on us - the owner even stopped by our table. We had the white sangria, Gabriella salad with shrimp, seafood stew, fried snapper and Nutella affogato. EVERYTHING WAS SO FRESH AND DELICIOUS. We ate and drank so much that our stomachs ached when we left. ☺️. Even though the restaurant was closed, we and other parties were never rushed out. It truly felt like we were enjoying a wonderful meal at a friend's home. We had a great time and can't wait to come back. Thank you!

I visited Tampeno for my birthday lunch and loved the modern fusion concept, a blend of Cuban, Spanish, and Italian flavors. We started with the crispy fish bites, perfectly crunchy with a hint of lemony tang. The Tampeno Cuban sandwich was the standout, rich, savory, and easy to see why it is so highly rated. The steak was well seasoned and cooked nicely, though the truffle fries (+$2) were a bit underwhelming and lacked bold flavor. Overall, the food was fresh with reasonable portion sizes. Service was excellent. Roxanna was friendly, attentive, and offered great recommendations. Even sitting outside, everything came out quickly. As a nice touch, they gave us coffee on the house for our first visit, which made the experience feel extra special. The ambiance is rustic, cozy, and slightly upscale, clean and welcoming. A great spot for both casual dining and special occasions. I would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting Tampa!

Wow!! I love this place!! Dining at Tampeño was a delight. The ambiance was perfect, the atmosphere was welcoming. Our server was attentive without being overbearing, and the last but not the least: the food!! The food exceeded my expectations!! The dishes were beautifully presented and a flavor explosion. I highly recommend the Tampeño Beef Roll. 5 stars from start to finish
